Abstract

A wide-mouth plastic container is formed from a preform that is blow-molded to form an intermediate container that has a plastic container part located below a moil. The moil is removed in two steps by spin trimming to yield the finished wide-mouth, ballshaped plastic container. Two intermediate containers and a process for manufacturing the wide-mouth, ball-shaped container and intermediates, are also disclosed.
