Car-t cell therapy of autoimmune disease-associated joint inflammation

Abstract

The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for the treatment of a mammalian subject suffering from an autoimmune disease with joint involvement. In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides a method of treating a mammalian subject suffering from an autoimmune disease with joint involvement the method comprising, administering to said subject a therapeutically effective amount of an orthogonal chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell in combination with an orthogonal IL2 ligand. In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides a method of treating a mammalian subject suffering from an autoimmune disease with joint involvement the method comprising, administering to said subject a therapeutically effective amount of an orthogonal human CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell in combination with an orthogonal human IL2 ligand, in some embodiments in the absence of prior lymphodepletion.
