A composition of a fuel additive for enhanced fuel filtration stability and enhanced combustion efficiency in the internal combustion engine

Abstract

Fuel catalysts, as a fuel borne catalyst or fuel combustion catalyst additive, can be used to treat diesel fuel, to enhance fuel combustion quality in the engine, producing less emissions and particulate matters. It is shown to save 5-10% fuel usage when the fuel is treated with fuel borne catalyst. In some embodiments, antioxidants are applied for terminating the radicals, therefore preventing fuel autoxidation. The autoxidation process starts with exposure to oxygen, slowly proceeding with radical formation and propagation, which causes rapid autoxidation of the fuel.
