Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a data transmission method, an apparatus, a chip, a system, a device, and a storage medium. Taking a first switching apparatus executing the method as an example, the first switching apparatus supports collective communication operations. The method comprises: performing data transmission for a first collective communication operation with a first communication apparatus by means of a plurality of first connections, wherein the plurality of first connections are a plurality of connections between a first switching apparatus and the first communication apparatus. Compared with a manner in which data transmission is performed with the first communication apparatus by means of a single connection, the method can improve the throughput performance and the bandwidth utilization rate of a link between the first switching apparatus and the first communication apparatus, thereby improving the data transmission efficiency. For scenarios where a switching apparatus supports collective communication operations, the method can improve the execution efficiency of the collective communication operations.
