Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of optical systems, and specifically discloses a library indoor lighting control system and method based on the Internet of Things. The system comprises: a plurality of visible light emitting sub-nodes, each of the visible light emitting sub-nodes comprising an emitting base, a first light source, a first polarizer, a first controller, and a first communication module, wherein the first light source is embedded and fixed within the emitting base, the first polarizer is located above the first light source, the first polarizer is rotatably connected to the emitting base, and a first driving member for driving rotation of the first polarizer is provided within the emitting base; the first communication module is configured for receiving first control information, the first controller is configured for generating a first control instruction according to a preset mode or the first control information, and the first driving member is configured for driving, according to the first control instruction, the rotation of the first polarizer so as to form flicker frequency information. The technical solution of the present invention aligns with the characteristics of library environments, enabling users to conveniently perform visible light communication with smart phones.
