Tailings pond dry beach length calculation method based on point cloud data

Abstract

The present application discloses a tailings pond dry beach length calculation method based on point cloud data. The method comprises: acquiring three-dimensional point cloud data information of a target tailings pond and processing same to generate a three-dimensional point cloud map, and marking a dam crest straight line; generating a surface voxel map on the basis of the three-dimensional point cloud map; performing water surface segmentation on the surface voxel map to obtain a water surface contour and water surface height data; and determining a dam crest plane and a water surface contour line, and calculating the dry beach length of the target tailings pond. In the present application, the three-dimensional point cloud data of the target tailings pond is acquired, and surface voxel map generation, water surface segmentation, projection and calculation are performed on the acquired three-dimensional point cloud data, thereby not only realizing the calculation of the dry beach length of the tailings pond on the basis of the point cloud data, but also achieving higher reliability, higher accuracy and higher efficiency.
