Runtime-reconfigurable artificial intelligence chip, processing unit, computing task execution method and electronic device

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of artificial intelligence chips, and specifically relates to a runtime-reconfigurable artificial intelligence chip, a processing unit, a computing task execution method and an electronic device. The chip comprises a controller and a plurality of processing units, wherein the controller acquires a computing task, and parses the computing task to obtain a plurality of computing sub-tasks and quantization bit-widths corresponding to the computing sub-tasks; and each processing unit comprises an interception register, a first multiplier, a second multiplier, a shifter, an adder, a concatenation register and a multiplexer, and is used for processing a specified computing sub-task, the quantization bit-width corresponding to the specified computing sub-task being a specified quantization bit-width. A controller configures quantization bit-widths of processing units on the basis of specified quantization bit-widths, thereby realizing the run-time reconfiguration of an artificial intelligence chip.
