Unhooking station with separating rail

Abstract

The invention relates to an unhooking station (10) and an overhead conveyor system comprising a station (10) of this type. The station (10) is designed to unhook a hook (12) of a load carrier (14) from a receiving opening (16) of an overhead conveyor adapter (18), which comprises a body (20) in which the receiving opening (16) is provided, and in particular a pair of rollers (32). The station (10) has: an adapter separating rail (22) in the interior of which the adapter (18) is moved on running and guide ribs (54) of the separating rail (22); and a load carrier discharge rail (23) which is provided separately from the separating rail (22) and which is shaped and arranged relative to the separating rail (22) in such a way that, during a downstream movement of the adapter (18), the discharge rail (23) dips from below into the still-suspended hook (12), the hook (12) is then lifted out of the receiving opening (16) during a continued downstream movement of the adapter (18) along a separating section (26) of the separating rail (22), and the hook (12) is moved horizontally laterally away from the separating rail (22) after separation from the adapter (18), wherein, along the separating section (26) of the separating rail (22), one of the running and guiding ribs (54-2) is arranged lower than the other of the running and guiding ribs (54-1), such that the adapter (18) is mounted in the separating rail (22) such that it can be pivoted about the conveying direction (25).
