Method and system for adaptive user classification

Abstract

A method for adaptive mobile device classification, said method comprising: obtaining, by a plurality of radio antennas, network signals from a plurality of mobile devices; defining an area of interest over which to perform a classification, said area of interest being associated with a connection priority between the plurality of radio antennas; filtering at least a first device based on radio network signals at a first time representative of an entrance into said area of interest; associating said signals representative of an entrance with a device user profile; and determining, based at least in part upon said device user profile, a classification of an associated user.
