Abstract

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a slider capable of making it difficult for a fastener element to be scraped by a slider body even when a sliding operation is repeatedly performed. As a means for solving this problem, provided is a slider in which: a pair of upper front avoidance portions (25) are disposed at left and right ends on a shoulder opening (18) side of upper blades (20, 20a); each upper front avoidance portion (25) has an inclined surface that gradually increases a distance between the upper front avoidance portion (25) and a center reference surface (50) toward the shoulder opening (18); a pair of lower front avoidance portions (35) are disposed at left and right ends on the shoulder opening (18) of lower blades (30, 30a); each lower front avoidance portion (35) has an inclined surface that gradually increases a distance between the lower front avoidance portion (35) and the center reference surface (50) toward the shoulder opening (18); and a depth (54) of the lower front avoidance portion (35) with respect to the center reference surface (50) is smaller than a depth (53) of the upper front avoidance portion (25) with respect to the center reference surface (50).
