Power transmitter, program, and control method for power transmitter

Abstract

A power-transmitter control unit (70) calculates an intensity of a power supply request signal based on a signal received by a power-transmitter communication coil (40), and energizes a power transmitter coil (22) on condition that the calculated intensity is determined to exceed a determination threshold. The power-transmitter control unit determines whether a vehicle that is a source of a signal received by an earlier-appearing communication coil and a vehicle that is a source of a signal received by a later-appearing communication coil are the same vehicle. The earlier-appearing communication antenna and the later-appearing communication antenna are power-transmitter communication antennas adjacent to each other in the vehicle travel direction. the power-transmitter control unit uses the received signal of the earlier appearing communication coil to control energization of a later-appearing power transmitter coil that is the power transmitter coil corresponding to the later-appearing communication coil.
