Epoxy resin composition, surface protective base material, and surface protective fiber-reinforced composite material

Abstract

[Problem] To provide an epoxy resin composition which achieves both improvement in impact resistance and maintenance of chemical resistance while exhibiting excellent light resistance. [Solution] An epoxy resin composition comprising the following components [A], [B], [C], and [D0]: a non-aromatic epoxy resin [A]; a curing agent [B]; a non-aromatic thermoplastic resin [C]; and a polyol [D0] including at least one of [D1] and [D2], wherein [D1] is a polyol which contains not less than one oxygen atom in the main chain of one molecule and which has an OC ratio of more than 0.1 and not more than 0.32 in constituent atoms other than constituent atoms in hydroxyl groups, the OC ratio being the ratio of the number of oxygen atoms to the number of carbon atoms, and [D2] is a polyol in which constituent atoms other than constituent atoms in hydroxyl groups are all constituted by carbon atoms and hydrogen atoms and in which the ratio of tertiary or higher carbon atoms accounting for said carbon atoms is less than 20%.
