Abstract

The invention relates to a mounting assembly (14) comprising - an attachment (11); - a component (7); - an adapter plate (13) comprising: + an adapter plate body (37) comprising: - an adapter plate underside (34), - an adapter plate upper side (35), - an adapter plate lateral surface (36), wherein the adapter plate lateral surface (36) defines an outer contour of the adapter plate (13), wherein the adapter plate lateral surface (36) is formed in a way in which it complements the form of a depression contour (20) of a depression (17) in the component (7) of the firearm (1). The adapter plate thickness (43) is greater than a depth (22) of the depression (17) in relation to a depression base area (18), so that the attachment (11) does not butt against the component (7). The adapter plate body (37) has a cut-out (44, 45), wherein the cut-out (44, 45) serves for leading through a fastening screw (50, 51), wherein the fastening screw (50, 51) supports itself on the attachment (11) and is screwed into a fastening thread (26, 27) of the component (7) of the firearm (1).
