Cleaning robot and control method therefor

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of cleaning apparatuses. Provided are a cleaning robot and a control method therefor. The cleaning robot comprises a cleaning assembly, which cleaning assembly comprises a support frame, a cleaning member provided on the support frame, and a baffle, wherein a limiting mechanism is provided at an axial end of the baffle; and the limiting mechanism is configured to limit the rotation of the baffle relative to the support frame between a blocking position, in which the baffle at least partially covers a cleaning portion of the cleaning member so as to prevent the cleaning member from making contact with a passing surface that does not require cleaning, and an exposing position, in which the baffle moves away from the cleaning portion of the cleaning member so as to allow the cleaning member to make contact with a passing surface that requires cleaning. The present disclosure can effectively reduce the risks of mis-cleaning and secondary contamination.
