A wax injection machine and relative device for the automated start and stop

Abstract

Described is a device (1) for the automated start and stop of a wax injection machine (101), the wax injection machine (101), particularly for goldsmith- silversmith production, on which said device (1) is installed and a process of injecting wax into the machine (101) itself. The device (1) comprises a loading zone (ZC) of the moulds (S) to be filled connected to a gripping zone (ZP), by means of a conveyor (2) that defines a loading direction (X) parallel to the direction of the flow of wax to be injected. The gripping zone (ZP) is for feeding an injection zone (Zl) of the wax in the moulds (S) by means of both a gripper (5) for gripping and transporting the mould (S) to be filled, towards the injection zone (Zl), and by means of a pusher (7) for moving the mould (S) from the gripping zone (ZP) to the injection zone (Zl). The device (1) further comprises sensor means (3, 4, 8) connected to a management and control logic unit of the conveyor (2), the gripper (5) and the pusher (7), for starting and / or stopping the device (1) upon detection of an obstacle within the loading zone (ZC) and / or within the gripping zone (ZP). This logic unit is for actuating compressors (9), acting on the mould (S) in the injection zone (Zl) for the injection of the wax into the mould (S) by the machine (101), in response to the signal received from said sensor means (3, 4, 8).
