System and method for monitoring one or more counters in a network

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a system (108) and a method (500) for monitoring one or more counters in a network (106). The method (500) includes receiving a request for retrieving real-time statistical data of the one or more counters associated with a network node. The method (500) includes configuring a refresh rate to periodically retrieve the statistical data. The method (500) includes creating at least one template based on one or more user commands, to retrieve the statistical data. The method (500) further include executing the at least one created template at the configured refresh rate to retrieve the statistical data.
