Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel bumpless upgrade method and system for an industrial cloud-based controller, and a medium. The method comprises: creating a cloud-based controller; receiving an uploaded software image of the cloud-based controller, uploading the software image to a private cloud platform, and performing image preloading after verification; in response to an upgrade request, identifying and selecting a backup controller to perform upgrade on the basis of the preloaded image, and controlling the backup controller to acquire and update a configuration preload memory to a configuration preload memory corresponding to a master controller; switching the upgraded backup controller to the master controller for trial operation, switching the master controller to the backup controller, and on the basis of the running state of a current control service during trial operation, continuing to upgrade the original master controller or rolling back the upgraded backup controller to a version before the upgrade. In the present invention, cloud-based processing is performed on a hardware controller, realizing bumpless upgrade between master and backup controllers and flexible resource management; and through intelligent processes, the present invention improves system flexibility, reduces maintenance costs, and provides strong support for efficient operation and maintenance in the industrial Internet.
