Abstract

The invention relates to a device for connecting two tube pieces, comprising: a connecting body (1) having a cylindrical bore (11) which transitions at both ends into an outwardly expanding conical bore (12); two union nuts (2) each having a bore (21) for receiving a tube piece (5, 6) and each being provided with an internal screw thread (22), by which the union nuts can be screwed onto external screw threads (13) arranged at respective ends the connecting body (1); and two cutting rings (3) having a cutting element (33), wherein at least one radially encircling groove (16) is arranged in the cylindrical bore (11) of the connecting body (1), in which groove a sealing ring (4) for sealing with respect to a tube piece (5, 6) introduced into the bore (11) is arranged. The invention further relates to a connection arrangement having such a device and to a method for connecting two tube pieces by means of such a device.
