Abstract

There is provided a method of manufacturing at least a component of a container for consumer goods. The method comprises: conveying a first band of material along a first path, the first band of material comprising a plurality of depositable sheets being arranged in pairs of a first depositable sheet and a second depositable sheet; conveying a plurality of laminar blanks along a second path, wherein the first path and the second path terminate at a transfer section comprising at least one transfer device; transferring the plurality of depositable sheets from the first reel of material onto the at least transfer device; and transferring the plurality of depositable sheets from the at least one transfer device onto the plurality of laminar blanks, such that each pair of the depositable sheets is transferred onto a respective one of the laminar blanks.
