Abstract
A travel control device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with a control circuit that is capable of: performing lane keeping control for performing steering control so that a host vehicle does not deviate from a travel lane; generating, on the basis of a yaw rate threshold for determining whether to temporarily turn off the lane keeping control, a control threshold that is smaller than the yaw rate threshold; and, when the absolute value of the yaw rate of the host vehicle is larger than the control threshold, performing speed control to reduce the travel speed of the host vehicle on the basis of a difference between the control threshold and the absolute value of the yaw rate of the host vehicle.
