Abstract

The present application discloses a battery cell and a battery pack. The battery cell has a third direction Z, and the battery cell comprises: a casing provided with an accommodating cavity; an electrode assembly arranged in the accommodating cavity; a top cover assembly, comprising a top cover and a lower plastic member, wherein the top cover covers the casing and closes the accommodating cavity, the lower plastic member is connected to the top cover and located between the top cover and the electrode assembly, and the lower plastic member has a first side surface facing the electrode assembly in the third direction Z; and an acquisition board provided with a temperature acquisition portion, wherein the acquisition board is arranged on the lower plastic member, and the acquisition board is located between the first side surface and the electrode assembly in the third direction Z. In the battery cell of the present application, when thermal runaway occurs in the electrode assembly, since the acquisition board is arranged on the side of the lower plastic member facing the electrode assembly, temperature information can be quickly acquired at a short distance, thereby achieving accurate monitoring of the battery temperature.
