Abstract

The invention relates to a measuring device for optically capturing a balancing weight applied to a rotor, wherein a rotor receptacle for receiving the rotor is provided. An optical image recording device for optically capturing geometric data of at least the one balancing weight is arranged at a distance from the rotor, wherein the image recording device is oriented relative to the rotor in such a way that at least one lateral surface of the rotor can be optically captured and the image recording device is connected to an evaluation unit so as to exchange data.
