Abstract
A system and method for achieving desired neurological outcomes through adaptive closed- loop brain monitoring and stimulation The system comprises a monitoring component configured to detect brain activity, a stimulation component configured to modulate brain activity, and a processing component configured to receive brain activity data, determine stimulation parameters, control the stimulation component, and dynamically adjust stimulation parameters based on received brain activity data. The system operates in closed-loop manner with stimulation parameters continuously informed by monitored brain activity. Related systems include a data processing system that collects brain activity data during neurostimulation, associates data with applied parameters, measures outcomes, stores associations, and analyzes stored associations to identify patterns for optimizing future interventions. A proactive intervention system predicts anticipated brain states based on contextual information and historical patterns to deliver preemptive stimulation based on predicted future states.
