Abstract

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a tire rubber composition that achieves workability and also achieves wear resistance and low fuel consumption in a tire when applied to the tire while using a sustainable material. A solution to the problem is a tire rubber composition that is characterized by comprising a rubber component and a filler and that is characterized in that the rubber component includes a copolymer of cyclopentene and a norbornene-based compound represented by general formula (1) [in the formula, R1-R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1-20 carbon atoms, or a substituent including a halogen atom, a silicon atom, an oxygen atom, or a nitrogen atom, R2 and R3 are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring, and m represents an integer of 0-2], and the filler contains a recovered carbon black.
