Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for recovering valuable metals including nickel, cobalt and manganese from a battery, comprising the steps of: adding, to an acidic solution, a raw material obtained from a waste battery and performing leaching thereon; adding, to a leachate, an alloy raw material comprising at least one of nickel, cobalt and manganese, so as to precipitate copper (Cu) as a solid phase; and separating, into a purified filtrate and a precipitated residue, a solution that has passed through the precipitation step, wherein the alloy raw material is added in an amount of 1.1 equivalents or more on the basis of the amount of copper (Cu) in the leachate, and the hydrogen ion concentration of the purified filtrate, from which the precipitated residue has been separated, is 0.00005-0.2 M.
