Abstract

A beverage filter includes a filter cup including a rim portion and a liquid-permeable pouch portion coupled to the rim portion. The rim portion defines a mouth of the pouch portion. Beverage-producing ingredients such as, for example, ground coffee beans are disposed within the pouch portion. A ring portion is coupled to the filter cup, and a lid is detachably coupled to the ring portion and is configured to completely cover the mouth.
