Abstract
Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a first apparatus respectively acquiring a first-type MPC and a second-type MPC, wherein the two types of MPCs are of different MPC types; and the first apparatus then determining channel information on the basis of the two types of MPCs and a combination mode thereof. Channel information is acquired by means of MPCs, and compared with a method in which a reference signal is frequently transmitted on the basis of a period so as to measure complete channel information, the present method can reduce overheads for determining the channel information. In addition, compared with a method in which one complete MPC is directly acquired, the present method involves separately acquiring two types of MPCs, and designing a combination mode of the two types of MPCs, and thus the present method can reduce overheads brought about by acquiring the MPCs. Moreover, the two types of MPCs are of different MPC types, such that incompleteness or redundancy of the MPCs can be avoided.
