Provided in the present disclosure is an electrically driven gas turbine generator set. The electrically driven gas turbine generator set comprises a gas turbine and a starting electric motor, wherein the gas turbine is connected to a gas turbine control device; the starting electric motor is connected to a generator and a frequency conversion control device; an overrunning clutch is provided between the starting electric motor and the gas turbine; and the starting electric motor starts the gas turbine by means of the frequency conversion control device. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the gas turbine can be quickly started by means of the electric motor and the frequency conversion control device, such that a prompt response can be ensured in case of emergency; moreover, components such as the electric motor can be arranged in a limited space, thereby reducing the weight of the overall set.
