[0003] The present invention relates to cosmetics, particularly though not exclusively to apparatus for holding cosmetics.
[0004] BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION
[0005] There exist a variety of cosmetics products and cosmetics applicators and a variety of apparatus for holding those. A make up artist may have a large set of make up colours and may be doing make up for a number of wearers but may only need a small selection of colours for a given wearer. Known apparatus for holding cosmetics may be awkward to use, particularly when a make up artists is doing make up for several wearers.
[0006] Accordingly, the present invention aims to address at least one disadvantage associated with apparatus for holding cosmetics whether discussed herein or otherwise.
[0007] SUMMARY OF INVENTION
[0008] According to a first aspect of the invention there is provided an apparatus for holding cosmetics, wherein the apparatus comprises:
[0009] (i) a support member; and
[0010] (ii) a container for cosmetics; and
[0011] wherein the apparatus is adapted such that, in use, the container can be releasably mounted on the support member.
[0012] Suitably, the apparatus is adapted such that, in use, the container can be magnetically mounted on the support member.
[0013] Suitably, the container and the support member have a magnetic attraction between them such that, in use, the container can be magnetically mounted on the support member.

Claims
CLAIMS1. An apparatus for holding cosmetics, wherein the apparatus comprises:(i) a support member; and(ii) a container for cosmetics; andwherein the apparatus is adapted such that, in use, the container can be releasably mounted on the support member.
2. An apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the apparatus further comprises (iii) a holder for cosmetics applicators and wherein the apparatus is adapted such that, in use, the holder (iii) can be releasably connected to the support member (i).
3. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the support member (i) comprises a magnetic stainless steel sheet and wherein the container (ii) comprises a magnet.
4. An apparatus according to any preceding claim, wherein the apparatus comprises a plurality of containers for cosmetics (ii) which have a base adapted, in use, to sit on the support member (i) and which includes a magnet.
5. An apparatus according to any preceding claim, wherein the apparatus comprises a container which comprises a container body defining a receptacle for cosmetics and having a base defining a cavity in which a magnet is located.
6. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein, the container (ii) body comprises a plastics material and the magnet is sealed in place such that, in use, the container can be washed without the magnet being exposed to any water.
7. An apparatus according to any of claims 2 to 6, wherein the holder (iii) for cosmetics applicators can be hooked to the support member.
8. An apparatus according to any of claims 2 to 7, wherein the holder (iii) for cosmetics applicators comprises a body defining one or more chambers for cosmetics applicators and comprises one or more connecting members for connecting to the support member in use.
9. An apparatus according to any of claims 2 to 8, wherein the support member (i) comprises an aperture into which a connecting member of the holder (iii) can locate, in use.
10. An apparatus according to any preceding claim, wherein the apparatus comprises a caddy into which two or more containers for cosmetics can be located in use when not mounted to the support member.
11. A kit comprising:(I) an apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 10; and(II) a container stand.
12. A support member wherein the support member comprises a magnetic material and is adapted such that, in use, containers for cosmetics can be magnetically mounted on the support member and wherein the support member is a palette board.
13. An apparatus for holding cosmetics, wherein the apparatus comprises:(a) a support member; and(b) a holder for cosmetics applicators; andwherein the apparatus is adapted such that, in use, the holder (b) can be releasably connected to the support member (a).
14. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein the support member (a) comprises apertures into which connecting members of the holder (b) can locate, in use and wherein the apertures comprise engaging parts having a first spacing from one another and receiving parts having a second spacing from one another.
15. A holder for cosmetics applicators, wherein the holder comprises:one or more chambers into which cosmetics applicators can be placed; andone or more connecting members for connecting to a support member in use.
16. A method of applying cosmetics wherein the method uses an apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 10 and / or a kit according to claim 11 and / or a support member according to claim 12 and / or an apparatus according to claim 13 or 14 and / or a holder according to claim 15.
