Abstract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating fibrosis comprising an SGLT-2 inhibitor and an angiotensin receptor blocker. Specifically, after inducing renal fibrosis in C57BL / 6 mice by administering folic acid, dapagliflozin and olmesartan medoxomil as test substances were administered alone or in combination for 4 weeks. As a result of albumin to creatinine ratio (ACR) in dapagliflozin alone and dapagliflozin + olmesartan co-administered groups, it is determined from histological analysis results of renal tissue that the dapagliflozin + olmesartan co-administered groups exhibit superior renal fibrosis-ameliorating and renoprotective effects compared with each of the single-administration groups of dapagliflozin or olmesartan medoxomil.
