Abstract
The present disclosure provides a technique for reducing energy consumption of a network and increasing energy efficiency, implemented by a method comprising: receiving, from a first base station, a first type of synchronization signal (SS); transmitting, to the first base station, an access request for radio resource control (RRC) connection establishment or handover; and receiving, from the first base station or a second base station, a second type of synchronization signal on the basis of the access request, wherein the first type of synchronization signal and the second type of synchronization signal differ from each other with respect to whether a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) is transmitted together with each synchronization signal or with respect to a subcarrier spacing (SCS) value, and have the same symbol length.
