Abstract
The present invention relates to a secondary battery sealing device for sealing a rechargeable secondary battery. The secondary battery sealing device according to the present invention may comprise: a battery fixing unit for fixing a secondary battery in which an electrode assembly is accommodated in an inner space formed by a rolled or folded sheet-type exterior material and a cap covering an opening of the sheet-type exterior material; a tension adjusting unit for maintaining tension in the sheet-type exterior material by pulling a surplus portion, which is a portion of the sheet-type exterior material other than the portion constituting the inner space; and a sealing unit for applying heat and pressure to the surplus portion.
