Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] ROTISSERIE CHICKEN OVEN WITH PAUSED ROTATION PROGRAMMING
[0003] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0004] The following invention is developed in the technical field of cooking equipment, specifically for charcoal grilling ovens that use charcoal or wood as a heat source. More specifically, it refers to a charcoal grilling oven with a paused rotation program that stops each set of grills very close to the heat source.
[0005] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0006] Currently known are charcoal grill ovens such as the one reported in patent document US5639497A, which discloses an oven for automatically cooking and rotating a food product comprising a cooking chamber that houses a planetary-type rotation assembly, an infrared gas burner, a ventilation means capable of releasing excess energy contained within the cooking chamber, a temperature sensor; and a programmable controller / timer system comprising a programmable semiconductor chip and a touch panel that allows the operator to change or store operating parameters such as cooking time, oven temperature, and the position of the ventilation damper according to the size and type of meat to be cooked by means of load compensation control.
[0007] However, the identified technical problem is that to focus the cooking of certain foods or items, the operator is required to pause the planetary-type rotation assembly for time intervals, which demands time and labor. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0008] As a solution to the aforementioned problem, the present invention was developed: a charcoal grill with a programmed, paused rotation system that allows programmed stops for each batch of chicken in the hottest area so that the chicken can roast more evenly. These stops can be programmed for a duration deemed appropriate by the user.
[0009] The charcoal grill oven with paused rotation programming consists of a conventional charcoal grill oven, which includes a housing, a compartment for the heat source, and a planetary rotation system with skewers onto which the charcoal is mounted. It also features a rotation programming system with a control panel incorporating a software module. This module uses a potentiometer to program the rotation pause time, allowing each skewer to automatically remain closer to the heat source for a longer period. Additionally, an inductive proximity sensor detects when the skewers are positioned directly over the heat source.
[0010] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
[0011] To complement the description being made and with the aim of helping a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, a set of figures is attached in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented:
[0012] Figure 1: An isometric top view of the invention is shown.
[0013] Figure 2: A schematic of the electrical circuit of the oven's operation is shown.
[0014] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0015] The present invention can be materialized in the following way, understanding that the description should be considered as an example of the principles of the invention and does not intend to limit the broad aspect of the invention to the mode of embodiment used.
[0016] A charcoal grill oven with a paused rotation program consists of a conventional charcoal grill oven comprising a housing with wheels at the base and a compartment (2) to house the heat source; it also has a motor (4), which is switched on by its connection to a modified pinion mini-contactor, which transfers its rotation to a planetary-type rotation system via a chain (1). The rotation system is composed of a set of removable spits (3), which can be conventional spits or grill-shaped for cooking open-faced chicken.
[0017] The invention also includes a control panel (6) incorporating a software-based control module connected to an inductive proximity sensor (5) that detects when each detachable spit (3) is positioned directly over the heat source, and a potentiometer (7) used to adjust the pause time of the rotation system so that each spit remains near the heat source for the specified time. The software automatically pauses the rotation of the system for the set time interval.
Claims
