Abstract
A method, apparatus, and system for A1 policy object management may be provided, the method including receiving, by a policy manager in a non-real-time Radio Access Network Intelligent Controller (non-RT RIC), a notification from a mediator of a near-real-time RIC (near-RT RIC) over an A1 interface, wherein the notification indicates that a number of instances of policy consumer objects implementing a policy schema stored in a data storage of the near-RT RIC has been updated, wherein the policy consumer objects are deployed in xApps of the near-RT RIC; updating, by the policy manager, an availability status of a policy schema stored in a data storage of the non-RT RIC based on receiving the notification; and sending, by the policy manager, an availability notification to an rApp in the non-RT RIC based on the updated availability status.
