Abstract
Provided is a novel dishwasher having, for example, a simple configuration. This dishwasher comprises: a body having a washing chamber; a nozzle that is disposed in the washing chamber and rotates about a central axis; and a supply mechanism that supplies water to the nozzle. The nozzle has a first portion, a second portion, a third portion, and a fourth portion. Each of the first portion, the second portion, the third portion, and the fourth portion has a plurality of ejection ports for ejecting water supplied from the supply mechanism. The plurality of ejection ports provided in each of the first portion and the fourth portion are provided so as to be capable of ejecting water toward one side in a second direction, while the plurality of ejection ports provided in each of the second portion and the third portion are provided so as to be capable of ejecting water toward the other side in the second direction. The total opening area of the plurality of ejection ports provided in the first portion and the total opening area of the plurality of ejection ports provided in the fourth portion are different from each other.
