[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0002] The present disclosure claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510062366X filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration on January 15, 2025, and entitled “SUPER-IONIC CONDUCTOR ELECTROLYTE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, HYBRID SUPER-IONIC CONDUCTOR ELECTROLYTE, QUASI-SOLID FLEXIBLE SUPER-IONIC CONDUCTOR ELECTROLYTE, SUPER-IONIC CONDUCTOR ELECTROLYTE FOR ALKALINE BATTERIES, AND ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE” , the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference in entirety.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of compounding of ionic liquid and new energy battery electrolyte materials, and in particular, to a super-ionic conductor electrolyte and a preparation method therefor, a hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolyte, a quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte, a super-ionic conductor electrolyte for alkaline batteries, and an energy storage device.BACKGROUND ART

[0004] The electrolyte is one of the important components of electrochemical energy storage devices, and the stability and ionic conductivity of the electrolyte are the keys to determining battery performance (Chen Renjie, Zhao Taolin, Ionic Liquid Electrolytes, Science Press, 2023, First Edition) . The high conductivity of the electrolyte is an important guarantee for reducing Li+ migration resistance and improving battery rate performance, and determines the rapid charge-discharge performance of ionic batteries. Enhancing the conductivity of the electrolyte, especially the ionic conductivity under low-temperature conditions, is of particular importance for expanding the practical application range of lithium-ion batteries and realizing applications under extreme conditions (Li Fujun, Science and Technology of Secondary Batteries, Science Press, 2021, First Edition) .

[0005] The safety of batteries is regarded as a more critical issue than performance, and the extensive use of volatile organic solvents poses a major threat to the safety of batteries. Organic solvents are flammable, and under conditions such as battery heating, overcharging or over-discharging, short circuit, or high temperature, they tend to cause a temperature rise, accelerating the generation of heat inside the battery. Excessive heat accumulates inside the battery, causing thermal decomposition of electrode active materials or oxidation of the electrolyte. This further generates a large amount of gas, leading to a sharp increase in internal pressure of the battery and triggering potential safety hazards such as combustion or explosion. Existing ionic electrolytes are ionic conductors composed of lithium / sodium salts dissolved in organic solvents. At present, representative solvents with high dielectric constants are carbonate-based solvents such as ethylene carbonate (EC) , which have almost become indispensable components in nearly all lithium-ion battery electrolytes (Chen Renjie, Advanced Battery Functional Electrolyte Materials, Science Press, 2020, First Edition) .

[0006] Ionic liquids are organic salts composed entirely of positively charged cations and negatively charged anions, and they possess excellent electrochemical properties such as a wide electrochemical window, high ionic conductivity, and interfacial compatibility with electrode materials. Ionic liquids are further green design solvents, with good thermal stability, non-volatility, and non-flammability. They can replace volatile organic solvents, mitigating the adverse impact of electrolyte organic solvents on ionic conductivity, further improving the safety of batteries, and reducing environmental and health hazards, thus realizing truly green and clean battery resources. In conclusion, the design flexibility and ionic characteristics of ionic liquids play an important role in electrochemical fields such as electrolytes, electrocatalysis, supercapacitors, and electrochemical sensors (Xie Ze’an, Zhao Fangyuan, Wang Yiyi, et al. Application of Ionic Liquids in Electrochemistry [J] . Journal of Shenyang Normal University (Natural Science Edition) , 2024, 42 (01) : 19-23) .

[0007] However, the performance of ionic liquids as electrolytes for energy storage devices still needs to be further optimized. Ionic liquids have low conductivity and high viscosity (their viscosity is 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than that of general organic solvents) , which results in unsatisfactory rate performance of batteries; in sodium-ion batteries, there is currently no ideal ionic liquid electrolyte formulation that can simultaneously have a suitable potential window, fast ion conduction, and the ability to cope with extreme temperatures (Chen Renjie, Zhao Taolin, Ionic Liquid Electrolytes, Science Press, 2023, First Edition) . Wide temperature range refers to a wide operating temperature range. With the continuous expansion of application scenarios of lithium batteries, the development of high and low temperature lithium battery technologies is imminent, and liquid electrolytes with a wide operating temperature range are the key thereto (Qi Shihan, Wang Zhongsheng, Guo Kanglong, et al. Research progress of wide temperature range lithium battery electrolytes [J] . Chinese Science Bulletin, 2022, 67 (24) : 2937-2949) . The standards for ideal low-temperature electrolytes are: (1) ionic conductivity higher than 1 mS / cm at -40 ℃; and (2) capability of operating within the temperature range of -40 ℃ to 60 ℃ (Chen Renjie, Advanced Battery Functional Electrolyte Materials, Science Press, 2020, First Edition) . Existing electrolyte materials solidify at low temperatures, leading to a significant decrease in ionic conductivity, while at high temperatures, they are prone to thermal decomposition, leading to safety issues. This prevents them from meeting the requirements for a wide operating temperature range.

[0008] Chinese Patent CN 118530183 A discloses a pyrimidine-based ionic liquid, the preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The pyrimidine-based ionic liquid has advantages such as low viscosity, stability to air and water, good compatibility with solutes, and excellent dissolving capacity, making it suitable as a functionalized or task-specific ionic liquid solvent for applications in the biomedical field.

[0009] Chinese Patent CN 106058312 B discloses a solidified ionic liquid electrolyte, the preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The electrolyte is an imidazole-based ionic liquid hybrid solid-state ionic liquid electrolyte synthesized under almost anhydrous conditions and protected by nitrogen, or argon. Its ionic conductivities at 0 ℃, 30 ℃ and 60 ℃ are 0.79 mS / cm, 1.91 mS / cm and 4.79 mS / cm respectively. It has low ionic conductivity and a narrow operating temperature range, thus failing to meet the standards for ideal low-temperature electrolytes and the requirements for higher electrochemical performance.

[0010] Therefore, the objective of the present disclosure is to design an ionic liquid electrolyte that can completely replace volatile organic solvents and further improve the ionic conductivity and operating temperature range of the electrolyte material.

[0011] In view of this, the present disclosure is specifically proposed.SUMMARY

[0048] To make the objectives, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure are clearly and completely described below. For the embodiments where specific conditions are not specified, they shall be conducted in accordance with conventional conditions or conditions recommended by the manufacturer. For the reagents or instruments used where the manufacturer is not specified, they are all conventional products commercially available.

[0049] The challenge in the electrochemical application of ionic liquids lies in designing ionic liquids with a wide electrochemical window and high conductivity. The main obstacle to the application of ionic liquid electrolytes in the prior art is low conductivity, and it further decreases as the temperature drops. Clearly, the conductivity of ionic liquids depends on the composition of the ionic liquids, and it simultaneously determines the thermodynamic stability and electrochemical stability of the ionic liquids. Therefore, the key to preparing ionic liquid electrolytes that meet practical requirements lies in the proper selection and design of ion pairs. The examples of the present disclosure adopt a “de novo design strategy” of hydrated ionic liquids to obtain a series of ionic liquids [A] X. It is unexpectedly found that the ionic liquid [A] X exhibits the characteristic of ultra-high ionic conductivity, with a room-temperature ionic conductivity up to more than 100 mS / cm in preliminary tests, and a stable temperature range between -46℃ and +270℃. It meets and exceeds the standards for ideal low-temperature electrolytes. Therefore, the super-ionic conductor electrolytes provided in the examples of the present disclosure simultaneously have super-ionic conductor characteristics and wide-temperature-range characteristics, and they are suitable for applications in wide-temperature-range lithium-ion batteries, as well as electrolytes for non-lithium-ion batteries such as sodium-ion, magnesium-ion, zinc-ion, and copper-ion batteries, supercapacitor electrolytes, and electrochemical sensors.

[0050] Specifically, in the first aspect, the present disclosure provides a super-ionic conductor electrolyte, wherein the super-ionic conductor electrolyte includes an ionic liquid [A] X, where [A] represents a cationic moiety, X represents an anionic moiety, and [A] is derived from choline or a halide thereof, and X is derived from a pyrimidine carboxylic acid derivative.

[0051] Specifically, [A] is derived from any one selected from the group consisting of the compounds represented by the following structural formulas:

[0052] That is to say, [A] is derived from any one selected from the group consisting of choline, choline chloride, choline bromide, choline iodide, choline fluoride, flurochlorcholine, and β-methylcholine chloride.

[0053] X is derived from the compound represented by the following structural formula:

[0054] where R1 is selected from H or hydroxyl, and R2 is selected from C1-C4 alkyl.

[0055] Preferably, X is derived from any one of the compounds represented by the following structural formulas:

[0056] The super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure has the characteristics of ultra-high ionic conductivity and a wide temperature range, with a room-temperature ionic conductivity up to more than 100 mS / cm and an operating temperature range between -46℃ and +270℃. Therefore, it can be used as an electrolyte for energy storage devices such as wide-temperature-range batteries and supercapacitors, providing reliable power supply for devices in extreme environments.

[0057] The stability and ionic conductivity of electrolyte materials are the key factors determining battery performance. Since the cationic moiety [A] of the ionic liquid [A] X in the examples of the present disclosure is constituted by choline and halides thereof, herein, the strong electronegativity of halogen atoms facilitates the dissociation of metal ions and anions, thereby affecting the electrochemical performance of the ionic liquid electrolyte, endowing it with a low migration energy barrier and ultra-high ionic conductivity, thus exhibiting super-ionic conductor characteristics.

[0058] On the other hand, since the anionic moiety X of the ionic liquid [A] X in the examples of the present disclosure is constituted by a pyrimidine carboxylic acid derivative, it has a significant water structuring effect. This enables more water molecules to be in a bound water state, thus weakening the influence of the solvent effect of water and helping to solve the battery capacity decay and safety issues caused by salt precipitation on the surface of the negative electrode during low-temperature and high-rate charging of power batteries.

[0059] Further, in the examples, the relationship between the molar ratio and concentration of the ionic liquid [A] X and ionic conductivity is tested, and the results show that: (1) the ionic conductivity increases with the increase of the [A] : X ratio in the ionic liquid [A] X, and the ionic conductivity approaches the peak value when the molar ratio of [A] : X is 8: 1, and then rises slowly thereafter (see Table 1 and FIG. 1) ; and (2) the ionic conductivity increases with the increase of the concentration of the ionic liquid [A] X, and the ionic conductivity approaches the peak value when the concentration reaches 30 wt%-40 wt%, and then begins to decrease thereafter (see Table 2 and FIG. 2) .

[0060] Further, the molar ratio of [A] to X is (1: 1) to (14: 1) , such as any value between (1: 1) to (14: 1) , including 1: 1, 2: 1, 3: 1, 4: 1, 5: 1, 6: 1, 7: 1, 8: 1, 9: 1, 10: 1, 11: 1, 12: 1, 13: 1, and 14: 1, for example, preferably (2: 1) to (10: 1) .

[0061] Further, the super-ionic conductor electrolyte is a pure aqueous super-ionic conductor electrolyte, wherein the pure aqueous super-ionic conductor electrolyte is free of any organic solvents; it includes only water and the ionic liquid [A] X, and the concentration of the ionic liquid [A] X in the super-ionic conductor electrolyte is 10 wt%-70 wt%. For example, it is any value between 10%and 70%including 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, and 70%.

[0062] Aqueous liquid electrolytes are green electrolytes that do not cause environmental pollution. Compared with conventional non-aqueous electrolytes, they have advantages in terms of cost, safety, and battery power density. In contrast, existing lithium-ion batteries use anhydrous organic solvents containing lithium ions as electrolytes, wherein the organic solvents used are not only toxic but also flammable. In addition, the production cost is also significantly increased due to the anhydrous preparation environment, which limits its application in fields such as large-scale energy storage. Therefore, replacing organic solvent electrolytes with aqueous electrolytes is regarded as one of the effective methods (Chen Renjie, Advanced Battery Functional Electrolyte Materials, Science Press, 2020, First Edition) .

[0063] Furthermore, since the raw materials for forming ionic liquid [A] X are all naturally sourced, non-toxic, harmless, and biodegradable substances, they exhibit complete environmental friendliness and biocompatibility.

[0064] In the second aspect, the present disclosure provides a preparation method for the super-ionic conductor electrolyte according to the aforementioned embodiment, including: mixing and dissolving the raw material for forming cation [A] and the raw material for forming anion X.

[0065] Specifically, the raw materials for forming cation [A] and the raw materials for forming anion X are sequentially added into a small amount of water, mixed and dissolved at normal temperature and pressure, so as to synthesize the required amount of ionic liquid [A] X in situ, and then water is supplemented to make the total liquid amount 100%; preferably, the temperature for mixing and dissolving is 30 ℃-50 ℃, and the duration is 10 min-30 min.

[0066] In the third aspect, the present disclosure provides a hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolyte. Since the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure has the duality of a super-ionic conductor and a green solvent, it can completely replace volatile organic solvents in existing electrolytes, further improving the safety, stability, and environmental friendliness of electrolyte materials.

[0067] The metal cations doped in the electrolyte rotate through the interaction of orientation force and induction force with surrounding anions, which always proceeds in the direction of reducing the energy barrier of metal ions, enabling metal ions such as lithium ions to migrate rapidly through the minimum energy path, thus further improving the ionic conductivity of the electrolyte. Specifically, the ionic liquid [A] X can replace organic solvents conventionally used in existing electrolyte technologies, such as volatile electrolyte solvents including carbonates, nitriles, and ethers, optimizing electrolyte formulations centered on carbonates, so as to avoid metal reactions and interface instability caused by excessive carbonates, thereby strengthening the electrode-electrolyte interface structure, and reducing interface impedance. It provides a better lithium-ion conduction path than existing organic solvent electrolytes, and optimizes the compatibility between the electrolyte and electrode materials. Further, different electrolyte salts, such as lithium salts, sodium salts, aluminum salts, magnesium salts, zinc salts, copper salts, and metal oxides, can be added without organic solvents to construct hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolytes, further optimizing the performance of battery electrolytes to make them suitable for applications under different conditions. For example, adding only a small amount of lithium bis (trifluoromethane sulfonimide) (LiTFSI, 5 wt%) can significantly improve the ionic conductivity of the super-ionic conductor electrolyte (about 120 mS / cm) .

[0068] The concentration of the above-mentioned electrolyte salt in the hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolyte is 5 wt%-30 wt%. For example, it is any value between 5 wt%and 30 wt%including 5 wt%, 10 wt%, 15 wt%, 20 wt%, 25 wt%, and 30 wt%. Furthermore, since the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure can simply and conveniently dissolve different electrolyte salts without the organic solvents, it enables the preparation of more strategically significant low-cost hybrid electrolytes for non-lithium-ion batteries, such as sodium-ion, magnesium-ion, and zinc-ion batteries. Unlike lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries are widely recognized as having excellent fast-charging characteristics and low-temperature performance, making them the preferred choice for next-generation resource-unconstrained high-efficiency energy storage systems.

[0069] Further, since a large amount of organic solvents are not required to add, the hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolyte can be prepared by conventional stirring method at normal temperature and pressure. Therefore, the composition and preparation process of the electrolyte can be further simplified. The hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolyte can be prepared through a simple, low-cost, low-energy-consumption and pollution-free process, further optimizing the production process, electrochemical performance and extreme environment applicability of the ionic liquid electrolyte.

[0070] In the fourth aspect, the present disclosure provides a quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte, further optimizing the performance and environmental applicability of the battery electrolyte and improving battery performance. For example, it can be used as the battery electrolyte in fields such as wearable devices and biomedical engineering with higher requirements for safety and convenience, as well as supercapacitors and electrochemical sensors.

[0071] Since the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the examples of the present disclosure has the duality of a super-ionic conductor and a green solvent, it is possible to simply and conveniently prepare a quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte by directly dissolving the polymer and electrolyte salt, or only the polymer, into the super-ionic conductor electrolyte without organic solvents, while maintaining its super-ionic conductor characteristics.

[0072] Herein, the polymer is any one selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyacrylamide, agar, carrageenan, xanthan gum, sodium alginate, and cellulose. Herein, the mass concentration of the polymer in the quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte is 5 wt%-20 wt%; for example, it is any value between 5%and 20%including 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%.

[0073] Herein, the electrolyte salt is any one selected from the group consisting of lithium salts, sodium salts, aluminum salts, magnesium salts, zinc salts, copper salts and metal oxides. Herein, the mass concentration of the electrolyte salt in the quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte is 5 wt%-30 wt%; for example, it is any value between 5%and 30%including 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%.

[0074] In the fifth aspect, the example of the present disclosure provides a super-ionic conductor electrolyte for alkaline batteries, including the super-ionic conductor electrolyte according to the aforementioned embodiments and an electrolyte additive, wherein the electrolyte additive is any one selected from sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. For example, the concentration of the electrolyte additive in the super-ionic conductor electrolyte for alkaline batteries is 5 wt%-15 wt%. For example, it is any value between 5 wt%and 15 wt%including 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt%.

[0075] In the sixth aspect, the present disclosure provides an energy storage device and an electrochemical sensor, including at least one of the super-ionic conductor electrolyte according to the aforementioned embodiments, the hybrid super-ionic conductor electrolyte according to the aforementioned embodiments, the quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte according to the aforementioned embodiments, and the super-ionic conductor electrolyte for alkaline batteries according to the aforementioned embodiments. Herein, the energy storage devices include batteries and supercapacitors; for example, the batteries include any one of wide-temperature-range lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, magnesium-ion batteries, zinc-ion batteries, copper-ion batteries, and fuel cells.

[0076] Further, since the conductive layer is a core component of the electrochemical sensor for converting and transmitting signals, and the vapor pressure of the ionic liquid is virtually negligible, the electrochemical sensor based on the super-ionic conductor electrolyte can operate stably for a long time in an open environment or even under vacuum conditions without performance loss; and the conductivity, responsiveness, and stability of the electrochemical sensor can be further improved.

[0077] In summary, the super-ionic conductor electrolytes provided in the examples of the present disclosure have the following characteristics.

[0078] (1) Duality of super-ionic conductor and green solvent: due to the natural low viscosity characteristic (about 95 mPa·s-285 mPa·s) of the ionic liquid [A] X, the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the examples of the present disclosure is endowed with the duality of a super-ionic conductor and a green solvent. This enables the direct dissolution of polymers and electrolyte salts in the super-ionic conductor electrolyte without requiring organic solvents. Consequently, an aqueous, hybrid, quasi-solid flexible super-ionic conductor electrolyte can be prepared simply and conveniently without compromising its super-ionic conductor characteristics. Even when a high content of polymer is present and a nearly non-flowing quasi-solid gel is formed, its ionic conductivity is still as high as 13 mS / cm.

[0079] In contrast, the conductivity of metal halide solid electrolytes is basically between 0.01 mS / cm to 0.1 mS / cm, and rarely reaches 10 mS / cm (Wang Weizong, Zhao Hongshun, Zhao Qian, et al. Computational simulation-assisted study on chloride solid electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries [J] . Science China: Chemistry, 2024, 54 (07) : 991-1011. ) .

[0080] (2) Wide-temperature-range ionic liquid characteristics: wide temperature range refers to a wide operating temperature range. In application scenarios such as electric vehicles and portable electronic devices, lithium batteries are only required to meet an operating temperature of 15 ℃-35 ℃. However, in some special application scenarios, lithium batteries are required to break through this temperature range; for example, in the petroleum industry, the lithium batteries are required to adapt to an operating environment about 80℃, while lithium batteries used in robots working in extreme environments are even required to operate stably in an environment about 150℃; in terms of low temperature, in application scenarios such as polar exploration and aerospace industry, lithium batteries are required to operate in an environment of -40℃ or even -80℃. Too low operating temperature slows down the kinetic process of electrochemical reactions in lithium batteries, or even makes them inoperable (Qi Shihan, Wang Zhongsheng, Guo Kanglong, et al. Research progress of wide temperature range lithium battery electrolytes [J] . Chinese Science Bulletin, 2022, 67 (24) : 2937-2949) .

[0081] The results of thermodynamic stability tests on the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure show that its glass transition temperature is -46.2℃ and its thermal decomposition temperature is +272.4℃. This indicates that the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure remains stable in the temperature range of -46℃ to +270℃, exhibits the characteristics of a wide-temperature-range ionic liquid electrolyte, meets and exceeds the standards for ideal low-temperature electrolytes, and further expands the applicability of battery electrolytes under extreme environmental conditions.

[0082] (3) Non-volatility and non-flammability: the safety of batteries is regarded as a more important issue than performance. In fact, in the prior art, traditional lithium-ion batteries all use organic solvents (EC+DMC, EC+DEC, EC+DMC+EMC, EC+DMC+DEC, etc. ) as electrolytes, and their safety has become the most significant issue. To improve their safety performance, researchers have explored the use of polymer electrolytes. However, the low ionic conductivity and high ohmic drop of polymers have hindered their application (National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China’s Discipline Development Strategy: Chemical Process Intensification, Science Press, 2018, First Edition) .

[0083] In contrast, ionic liquids have the characteristics of non-volatility and non-flammability, enabling them to significantly enhance the safety of existing battery electrolytes without impairing the performance of battery electrolytes.

[0084] (4) Unique double electric layer structure: compared with lithium-ion batteries, capacitors can achieve higher energy density without sacrificing power density. Herein, double electric layer capacitors can possess tens of thousands of ultra-long cycle life due to their fast charge-discharge speed and no electrochemical reactions occurring during the process. From a theoretical perspective, there are two methods to improve the energy density of double electric layer capacitors: one is to maximize the double electric layer capacitance per unit area, and the other is to maximize the interface area per unit volume. Obviously, the first method is the key, and the unique double electric layer structure of ionic liquids at the interface provides conditions for the application of double electric layer capacitors (National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China’s Discipline Development Strategy: Chemical Process Intensification, Science Press, 2018, First Edition) .

[0085] In terms of microstructure, the short-range ion-ion interactions existing in ionic liquids exert a significant influence on ionic liquids and their interfacial properties, endowing them with unique electrochemical properties, exhibiting as special charge transfer modes and double electric layer structure. That is, the double electric layer of ionic liquids at the interface is a multi-ionic layer formed by alternating cationic and anionic layers, rather than the diffuse double electric layer in conventional aqueous solutions. Therefore, the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure can be used in supercapacitors, improving the energy density, operating temperature range and safety performance of existing supercapacitors.

[0086] (5) Protic ionic liquid property: according to the  acid-base theory, choline and its halides, as well as pyrimidine carboxylic acid derivatives, which form the ionic liquid [A] X, can accept protons and donate protons respectively, thereby exhibiting the property of protic ionic liquids. Its structure contains exchangeable and reactive active protons that enable rapid transport between electrodes, making it suitable for use as an electrolyte in fuel cells. In addition, ionic liquids are further promising catalyst layer additives that can promote redox reactions in fuel cells (Chen Renjie, Zhao Taolin, Ionic Liquid Electrolytes, Science Press, 2023, First Edition) .

[0087] Therefore, compared with the prior art, the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in the example of the present disclosure has the duality of a super-ionic conductor and a green solvent, a wide temperature range, and good safety performance. As a result, it is suitable for applications in wide-temperature-range lithium-ion batteries, as well as electrolytes for non-lithium-ion batteries such as sodium-ion, magnesium-ion, zinc-ion, and copper-ion batteries, alkaline battery electrolytes, fuel cell electrolytes, supercapacitors, and electrochemical sensors. At the same time, the microscopic double electric layer structure characteristics of ionic liquids can further improve the energy density, operating temperature range and safety of existing supercapacitors. Materials include 2-methyl-1, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydropyrimidine carboxylic acid, 5-hydroxy-2-methyl-1, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydropyrimidine carboxylic acid (100%, Merck) , choline, choline chloride (90%, Macklin) , choline bromide, choline iodide, β-methylcholine chloride, lithium bromide, lithium bis (trifluoromethane sulfonimide) , lithium hexafluorophosphate, sodium alginate (98-99%, AR, Aladdin) , polyvinylpyrrolidone K-90 (Ashland) , polyvinyl alcohol 1799 (analytical reagent, Zhonglian) , PEG-1450 NF (Dow) , sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, magnesium sulfate (analytical reagent, Xiyu) , and cerium oxide (Guangli) .

[0088] Detection methods:

[0089] Ionic conductivity (Λ) test: direct measurement method using a conductivity meter (DDS-307A) . The actual test temperature for room-temperature ionic conductivity is 20 ℃-25 ℃, and the actual test temperature for low-temperature ionic conductivity is -19.1℃, with unit: mS / cm.

[0090] Thermal stability window (ΔT) test: glass transition temperature is measured by the thermal analysis method of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC, NETZSCH DSC 204F1) ; thermal decomposition temperature is measured by the thermal analysis method of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA, NETZSCH STA 2500) .

[0091] The characteristics and performance of the present disclosure are further described in detail below in conjunction with examples.

[0092] Example 1

[0093] A preparation method of a super-ionic conductor electrolyte was provided in Example 1 of the present disclosure, including: according to the composition molar ratio (mol) and mass concentration (wt%) in Table 1, the raw materials for forming [A] X, i.e., choline chloride (chc) and 2-methyl-1, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydropyrimidine carboxylic acid, were sequentially added into a small amount of water, and conventional stirring was performed at room temperature for 10 min-30 min until the raw materials were completely dissolved; then water was supplemented to make the total liquid amount 100%, and thus the super-ionic conductor electrolyte of Example 1 was obtained.

[0094] The compositions and physicochemical properties of Example 1 are summarized in Table 1.

[0095] The ionic conductivity (Λ, unit: mS / cm) and pH value of a group of super-ionic conductor electrolyte solutions with different composition molar ratios and the same concentration provided in Example 1 were tested at room temperature (about 25℃) , aiming to obtain the correlation index between the molar ratio of [A] : X in the ionic liquid [A] X and the ionic conductivity.

[0096] The results show that the ionic conductivity of the super-ionic conductor electrolyte provided in Example 1 increases with the increase of the molar ratio of [A] : X in the ionic liquid [A] X, and when the molar ratio of [A] : X is 8: 1, the ionic conductivity approaches the peak value, and then rises slowly thereafter (see Table 1 and FIG. 1) .

[0121] The compositions and physicochemical properties of Examples 17-20 were summarized in Table 5.

[0122] Experimental results show that a quasi-solid super-ionic conductor electrolyte obtained after adding a polymer can lead to a decrease in ionic conductivity by about 30%; as the amount of the polymer increases and the gel viscosity rises, the ionic conductivity further decreases. However, even when the PVA addition amount reaches 20 wt%and the gel is almost non-flowable, its room-temperature ionic conductivity remains as high as 13 mS / cm. Herein, the adverse effect of polyvinylpyrrolidone on ionic conductivity is weaker than that of polyvinyl alcohol; doping a lithium salt into the quasi-solid gel electrolyte can lead to an increase in ionic conductivity, and the ionic conductivity increases with the increase of the lithium salt concentration. Herein, in Example 17, a flowable gel was formed by adding PVP (K-90, 10 wt%) on the basis of Example 3. Compared with Example 3, the ionic conductivity decreases by about 30% (from 101 mS / cm to 73 mS / cm) .

[0123] Herein, in Example 18, a flowable gel was formed by adding a lithium salt (LiBr, 10 wt%) on the basis of Example 17. Compared with Example 17, the ionic conductivity increases by about 7% (from 73mS / cm to 78mS / cm) .

[0124] Herein, in Example 19, a flowable gel was formed by replacing PVP with an equal amount of PVA (PVA1799, 10 wt%) on the basis of Example 18. Compared with Example 18, the ionic conductivity decreases by about 18% (from 78 mS / cm to 64 mS / cm) . Herein, in Example 20, a nearly non-flowable viscous gel was formed by further increasing the amount of polymer PVA to 20 wt%on the basis of Example 19. The ionic conductivity decreases by about 80% (from 64 mS / cm to 13 mS / cm) .

[0129] The compositions and physicochemical properties of Examples 21 and 22 were summarized in Table 6.

[0130] Examples 21 and 22 verify the compatibility of the super-ionic conductor electrolytes provided in the examples of the present disclosure with sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. The results show that when the concentrations of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are below 15 wt%, they are compatible with the super-ionic conductor electrolytes and significantly increase the ionic conductivity (>199 mS / cm) , exhibiting super-ionic conductor characteristics. It is used as a super-ionic conductor electrolyte for wide-temperature-range alkaline batteries, and can optimize the electrochemical performance, safety and stability of existing alkaline batteries.

[0133] Molecular Simulation Experiments

[0135] Table 7 Results of Molecular Simulation Experiments

[0136] Data from molecular simulation experiments show that under the conditions of 298.15 K and 1.00 Atm, in the reactions of 2-methyl-1, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydropyrimidine carboxylic acid and 5-hydroxy-2-methyl-1, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydropyrimidine carboxylic acid with choline, choline chloride, choline bromide, choline iodide, choline fluoride, flurochlorcholine, and β-methylcholine chloride respectively, except that the Gibbs free energy change (ΔG≥0) of the reactions between 5-hydroxy-2-methyl-1, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydropyrimidine carboxylic acid and choline fluoride, and flurochlorcholine predicts that the reactions cannot proceed spontaneously, the Gibbs free energy change (ΔG<0) of the other reactions predicts that the reactions can all proceed spontaneously, indicating that stable ionic liquids can be formed.

[0137] In the ionic liquids that can be formed, strong hydrogen bonds are formed between molecules (bond energy BE is about 23 Kcal / mol-98 Kcal / mol) , thus having strong dissolution performance; they exhibit varying polarities (dipole moment μ is about 1.11 Debye-9.20 Debye) . The experimental data are consistent with the results of the examples, in which the electrolyte organic solvent can be completely replaced.

[0138] The above are only preferred examples of the present disclosure and are not intended to limit the present disclosure. For those skilled in the art, the present disclosure can have various modifications and changes. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement, etc., made within the spirit and principle of the present disclosure shall be included in the protection scope of the present disclosure.INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
