AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

In communication systems, the available computing resources of receiving nodes are insufficient to meet the source channel decoding requirements corresponding to the source channel coding of sending nodes, resulting in a mismatch in file processing resource usage and reducing the quality of service between nodes.

Method used

By acquiring node status information, the target transmission strategy is determined, and transmission and processing resources are adjusted to ensure that the resources of sending nodes, receiving nodes, and intermediate nodes meet the file transmission requirements, thereby achieving balanced management and utilization of resources.

Benefits of technology

It improves the quality of service between nodes, reduces the overall latency during file transfer, and increases resource utilization.

Abstract

A transmission management method and apparatus, capable of improving the quality of service between nodes. In the method, a target node can adjust, on the basis of at least one of state information of a transmitting node, state information of a receiving node, and state information of an intermediate node between the transmitting node and the receiving node, a transmission resource occupied, during transmission, by a file to be transmitted, and resource parameters for the transmitting node and the receiving node to process said file, thereby enabling available processing resources in the transmitting node to satisfy processing requirements for said file, available processing resources in the receiving node to satisfy inverse processing requirements for said file that has been processed, and available transmission resources in the intermediate node to satisfy transmission requirements for said file, thereby improving the quality of service between the nodes. Moreover, by comprehensively considering the available processing resources in the transmitting node, the available processing resources in the receiving node, and the available transmission resources in the intermediate node, balanced management can be performed on resource occupation of said file in the transmitting node, the receiving node, and the intermediate node, thereby improving resource utilization.
