The present application relates to the field of communications. Provided are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: receiving first information, which is used for requesting environmental information around a terminal device; and sending the environmental information, which is used for indicating at least one of the following environmental parameters: obstacle information, communication quality information, positioning performance information, or path planning information.
