Abstract

The invention relates to a storage compartment (40) in an interior of a motor vehicle, having at least one compartment divider (10) for subdividing the storage compartment (40) into compartment segments (41, 42, 43), wherein the at least one compartment divider (10) comprises a plurality of containers (11, 12) that can be combined with one another for receiving objects, and the containers (11, 12) can each also be used as separate dividing elements.

[0003] The invention relates to a storage compartment in the interior of a motor vehicle with at least one compartment divider for dividing the storage compartment into compartment segments.

[0004] German patent application DE 102019208688 B4 describes a storage compartment for a motor vehicle into which partitions can be inserted to divide the compartment. Inside the partitions is a container for holding an object. The partitions have an opening for inserting the object into or removing it from the container.

[0005] DE 10 2014 226 473 B4 discloses a storage compartment for the center console of a motor vehicle. The storage compartment can be divided into two adjacent storage areas by a vertical partition. The partition consists of an upper and a lower partition, the lower partition being removable and replaceable by a drawer. Furthermore, after removing the lower partition, a divider extending longitudinally in the direction of the vehicle can be inserted, so that the storage compartment can have a further horizontal subdivision with compartment segments arranged one above the other.

[0006] Patent 10 2022 213 335 A1 mentions a container holder for the interior of a motor vehicle, in particular for a center console. The container holder has a recessed body with a receptacle that can be adapted to containers or objects of different sizes. Furthermore, a support bracket positioned between sliding inserts is provided to allow for flexible use of the usable space in the recessed body. Additionally, an underfloor support is provided below the recessed body for holding at least one beverage container. The invention aims to provide a storage compartment of the type mentioned above that can be individually adapted to the personal needs of vehicle occupants.

[0007] The invention solves the stated problem with a storage compartment of the type mentioned above, in which, according to the invention, the at least one compartment divider has several combinable containers for holding objects, and the containers can each also be used as separate separating elements. The at least one compartment divider thus fulfills the function of dividing the storage compartment into different compartment segments and simultaneously providing an organized way to store objects or small items such as keys, coins, a lipstick, or the like.

Claims

Storage compartment (40) in an interior of a motor vehicle with at least one compartment divider for dividing the storage compartment (40) into compartment segments (41 , 42, 43), characterized in that the at least one compartment divider has several combinable containers (11, 12) for receiving objects (22, 30, 31) and the containers (11, 12) can each also be used as separate separating elements.

2. Storage compartment (40) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the containers (11, 12) are two identical trays.

3. Storage compartment (40) according to claim 2, characterized in that the two identical trays (11, 12) can be arranged side by side or one above the other.

4. Storage compartment (40) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the two identical trays (11, 12) are arranged one above the other with openings (20, 21) positioned opposite each other.
