Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] METHOD FOR PREPARING A PERSONALIZED BEVERAGE AND THE PRODUCT THEREOF

[0003] THE FIELD OF THE ART

[0004] The invention relates to the field of human necessities and specifically to the field of foods and tobacco. More specifically, it relates to the field of foods, their processing, and even more specifically to the field of preparation and processing of foods, foodstuffs and non-alcoholic beverages. Specifically, it relates to a method for preparing a personalized beverage and to the final product of this specific method.

[0005] THE BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The method for preparing a personalized beverage disclosed in the present invention, as well as the final product resulting from it, have not been disclosed in the prior art known to date.

[0007] In the global market, a multitude of beverages are available which offer almost unlimited choices to all consumers. Thus, beverages include various categories covering hot and cold drinks. Usually, hot beverages include different variations of coffee, tea, chocolate and herbal beverages, while cold beverages usually include cold coffees, iced tea juices and slushies. Additionally, there are, among others, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, energy drinks with different types of ingredients and milk-based drinks. The biggest disadvantage presented by all known beverages on the market is that they have a specific taste profile, with specific dosages of ingredients and specific ingredients, which do not adapt to the requirements of consumers, but force consumers to adapt to therespective profiles of each beverage. Thus, they offer limited choices for individuals with special dietary needs. Consequently, if a consumer enjoys consuming a cold beverage, with a specific taste and which is particularly sweet, the chances of finding such a ready-made drink are particularly small, since most beverages are neutral in terms of sugar, in order to attract as many consumers as possible. Similarly, if a consumer wants a non-carbonated beverage, which tastes similar to any cola-type beverage known to date, they do not have the possibility to find it ready-made on the market.

[0008] Additional disadvantages of ready-made beverages on the market are that they have high sugar and artificial sweetener content, while many of them also have high fat content, making them particularly harmful to consumer health. Additionally, the flavors may be excessively sweet or artificial, without the sense of freshness offered by preparing a beverage with natural ingredients.

[0009] Yet another significant disadvantage of ready-made beverages ava ilable on the market is that their production, their packaging, whether in plastic bottles or aluminum cans, as well as their transportation, undoubtedly has a negative impact on the environment, since the environmental footprint of all the above processes is particularly burdensome.

[0010] Finally, many of the ready-made beverages on the market, although they may be tasty and offer a temporary pleasure, include ingredients such as caffeine and other stimulating substances, which may lead to addiction, cause insomnia, anxiety or other undesirable side effects.

[0011] It is thus the object of the present invention to advantageously address the aforementioned disadvantages and deficiencies of the prior technology by proposing a method for preparing a personalized beverage. A further object of the invention is to provide the beverage resulting from this specific preparation method.PC I / GR2026 / OOOOQ2

[0012] A further object of the present invention is to provide a method for preparing a personalized beverage that allows the consumer to personalize the composition of their beverage, selecting the dose in the individual elements of the beverage, according to their personal preferences.

[0013] A further object of the present invention is to provide a personalized beverage which is prepared from separable tablets, which offer the consumer the possibility of precise control of the dosage of each ingredi ent.

[0014] A further object of the invention is to provide a personalized beverage, where the separable tablets consist of multiple segments, so as to allow the selection of the appropriate dose, which adapts to the choices of each user.

[0015] A further advantage of the invention is the fact that it offers a personalized consumption experience to each user, since it allows them to adjust the taste, the sweetness or the nutritional ingredients of each beverage, according to their preferences, in contrast to existing products on the market, which have given taste characteristics and a specific nutritional ingredient profile.

[0016] Another object of the invention is to provide a method for preparing a personalized beverage, where all ingredients used are water-soluble, so as to present ease of application, even by users who are on the move.

[0017] An object of the present invention is also to provide a personalized beverage, which thanks to the multitude of possible combinations, allows users with the same number of basic ingredients, to create a multitude of beverages, with different taste and nutritional characteristics, that adapt to their needs, requirements and taste particularities.

[0018] A characteristic of the present invention is also the fact that it allows, due to the properties of the separable tablets, the precise adjustment of the used quantity of each ingredient, while at the same time offering the user the corresponding flexibility in adjusting their beverage. These and other objects, characteristics and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the following detailed description.

[0019] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0020] The invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art with reference to the accompanying drawings in which it is depicted in an indicative, non-limiting manner.

[0021] Figure 1 shows a tablet, separable into segments, according to an embodiment of the invention.

[0022] Figure 2 shows a glass with three separable tablets, which dissolve in water for the preparation of a personalized beverage.

[0023] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0024] Referring now to the accompanying drawings, we will describe indicative embodiments of the method for preparing a personalized beverage and the finally produced product thereof.

[0025] The beverage is prepared from at least two tablets (1), Fig. 1, each of which contains a different active substance. Each tablet (1) may be of different size, different shape and different composition from the others. Each tablet (1) is water-soluble. Preferably, the tablets (1) are round. Each tablet (1) preferably bears engraved on its surface, at least one score line (2), which allows its separation into two equal segments. Even more preferably, these score lines (2) are two or more, so as to allow the separation of each tablet (1) into four or more segments.

[0026] Each tablet (1) contains a category of different active substance, so that when combined together they give us the finally prepared beverage. Each tablet3CT / GR2026 / 000002

[0028] (1) as an active substance may therefore include a basic ingredient and a sweetening substance. Preferably, there may also be a third tablet ( 1 ) that includes micronutrient ingredients. As a basic ingredient, the tablet (1) has any substance, natural or artificial, or a combination thereof, so as to be able to offer the selected flavor, which indicatively may be lemon, orange, tea, cola or any other desired flavor. As a sweetening substance, it may be any natural or artificial substance that enhances the sweet taste of a food, such as indicatively, but not restrictively, sugar, glucose, fructose, maltose, stevia, aspartame, saccharin, erythritol, xylitol and maltitol. As micronutrient ingredients, a tablet may have one or more vitamins, minerals and trace elements, which are administered orally, as dietary supplements. Indicatively, but not restrictively, vitamins C, D, B1, B2, iron, zinc, calcium and magnesium are mentioned. Furthermore, each of the tablets (1), whether of the basic ingredient, or of the sweetening substance, or of the micronutrient ingredients, also includes other excipients, which are the inert ingredients that help in the formation, solubility, stability and taste of the tablet (1). Exemplarily, such are bulking agents, binding agents, acids and carbonates, as well as coloring substances, which may color each type of tablet (1) with a different color, so that the user can distinguish them and select each time the appropriate type, in order to create the beverage they desire, with the combination of ingredients they select.

[0029] In an alternative embodiment of the invention, additional tablets (1) may be available that have different elements, such as electrolytes or amino acids, such as indicatively taurine.

[0030] In yet another exemplary alternative embodiment of the invention, tablets may be available, already separated into smaller pieces, in dragee form. So that the user can add the already divided tablets into a glass with liquid. Exemplarily, in one package there are four small pieces of tea flavor, four small pieces of lemon'

[0032] flavor with vitamin C and another four small pieces of some type of sweetener, which the user combines to make their beverage.

[0033] In the application of the method for preparing the personalized beverage of the invention, the user adds to a container (3), Fig. 2, such as for example a glass, the liquid (4) of their preference. Preferably, but not exclusively, this may be water. Alternatively, it may be juice or some other beverage, such as tea or a cola¬ type drink. The liquid (4) may be carbonated or non-carbonated. The liquid (4) may be hot, at room temperature or iced and generally at any temperature. To the liquid (4), they add whatever combination of tablets (1) they wish. They may, for example add one whole tablet (1) of basic ingredient and half a tablet of sweetening substance. The separation is done by cutting the tablet at the corresponding score line (2). The tablets (1) dissolve in the liquid (4) and are then stirred by the user, so as to achieve the desired mixing of them, so as to create the beverage the user desires. In another, exemplary variation of the method, the user adds to hot liquid (4) half a tablet (1) of basic ingredient, one quarter of a tablet (1) of sweetening substance and three quarters of a tablet (1) of micronutrient ingredients and after stirring them, creates a hot beverage.

[0034] It should be noted at this point that the description of the invention was made with reference to indicative application examples, to which it is not limited. Consequently, any change or modification regarding the shape, the dimensions, the morphology, the materials and ingredients used, provided that they do not constitute a new inventive step and do not contribute to the technical evolution of what is already known, are considered contained within the purposes and aims of the present invention.
