Abstract
A transfer bar for a trigger device in a striker fired firearm is described. The transfer bar includes a notch proximal a rear end. The notch includes a front edge and a rear edge extending upwardly and forwardly from the transfer bar. The transfer bar is configured to be rotatably coupled at its front end to a trigger module. The notch is shaped to receive a lip from a trip bar. The rear edge of the transfer bar is shaped to restrict rearward motion of the lip to a maximum predefined distance when the transfer bar rotates about the trigger module.
