AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing rotating devices require complex and laborious processes to adjust the opening/closing speed of the opening/closing body, and are prone to shifting during repeated vibrations due to press-fit fixation.

Method used

A rotating device with a shaft structure that includes a cylindrical main body, a rotating member, and a spring, featuring locking portions and guide portions that simplify assembly and allow easy adjustment of the spring's biasing force, while being stable against vibrations.

Benefits of technology

Enables easy assembly, stable operation, and adjustable biasing force, improving usability and reducing complexity in changing the opening/closing speed, with enhanced stability and ease of spring replacement.

Abstract

The present invention makes it easy to assembly an opening / closing body to a fixed member in a turnable manner with a shaft structure body as a pivot point and to adjust the magnitude of biasing force or pressing force of a spring, thereby contributing to improvement of usability. A turning device is composed of an opening / closing body 2, a fixed member 1, and a shaft structure body 9 which turnably holds the opening / closing body with respect to the fixed member. The shaft structure body 9 comprises: a cylindrical body part 3; a turning member 4 which is turnably attached to one end of the body part; and a spring 6 which is accommodated inside the body part and connects the body part and the turning member. The opening / closing body and the fixed member include mounting parts 13A, 13B, 23 which support the shaft structure body 9 in a state of being inserted thereto. The turning member 4 includes a first engaging part 45, the body part 3 includes a second engaging part 34, and the mounting parts include a first engaged part 17 corresponding to the first engaging part and a second engaged part 25 corresponding to the second engaging part 34. When the shaft structure body is inserted in the mounting parts and supported, the second engaging part 34 is fitted to the second engaged part 15, and the first engaging part 45 is fitted to the first engaged part 17.
