Abstract

Various embodiments of the present invention comprise a display (160), a memory (130) for storing instructions, and a processor (120), wherein, when executed by the processor, the instructions can instruct an electronic device to: receive an input of a schedule from a user; identify a destination on the basis of information included in the schedule; identify a means of transportation to the destination on the basis of personalized information stored in the memory; calculate a time required to reach the destination by using the identified means of transportation; determine, on the basis of the calculated required time, whether the current time of the electronic device is within a designated time from a scheduled time of the schedule; recalculate a time required from the current location of the electronic device to the destination when the current time of the electronic device is within the designated time from the scheduled time; and, on the basis of the recalculated required time, guide, on the display, a departure time related to the schedule. Various embodiments are possible.
