[0001] Device comprising cooker hood and air conditioner

[0002] The subject of the invention is a device comprising a cooker hood having a hood section with a vapour inlet and a vapour outlet duct provided with a duct fan, to be connected to the building ventilation duct via an opening in the building wall.

[0003] The air conditioner market in general still lacks many technical solutions related to the functioning of air conditioners.

[0004] Today's and most popular air conditioners usually consist of two main components, an outdoor unit (condenser - gives off heat to the atmosphere from the refrigeration system) located outside the building and an indoor unit (evaporator) located inside the building, which cools the air in the room in which it is located. Such an air-conditioner, consisting of two main parts (indoor unit - evaporator and outdoor unit - condenser), is connected by copper tubes - pipes - through which the refrigerant travels, and the copper tubes themselves usually pass through the outer wall of the building. Unfortunately, such an air conditioner cannot be installed anywhere, as not every flat has, for example, a balcony or permission from the property owner to install the outdoor unit on the outside wall of the apartment building. A resident of an apartment block is simply excluded from using such an air conditioner, consisting of two separate units.

Such an air conditioner is not very practical, as neither the external doors of the flat nor the windows have openings suitable for the insertion of a pipe to discharge waste heat into the atmosphere, and opening a door or window wide will cause the waste heat pushed out by the pipe to return to the room that is to be cooled. Such a portable air conditioner with a pipe for waste heat is not practical and has technical limitations and architectural limitations of the apartment building in the form of lack of suitable openings in doors or windows. Demand for these types of air conditioners is negligible, due to their disadvantages.

Claims1. A device comprising a cooker hood having a hood section (14) with a hood vapour inlet (15) and a vapour outlet duct (21) provided with a duct fan (18), to be connected to the ventilation duct (1) of the building via an opening in the wall (2) of the building, characterised in that it comprises an air conditioner integrally connected to the hood, the air conditioner having an air conditioner housing (4) having an inlet (5) and an outlet (22) of air from / to the room and also, contained within the air conditioner housing (4):• a refrigerant cooling system comprising a condenser (6), an air conditioning fan (7) of the condenser (6), an expansion valve (8), a compressor (9), an evaporator (11) and an outlet fan (10) of the evaporator (11), and• a duct (3) that removes waste heat from the air conditioner (4), to be connected to the ventilation duct (1) of the building via an opening in the wall (2) of the building, wherein the air conditioner has a condensate drain (12) from the evaporator (11) and is separated from the hood by a wall (20).

2. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the outlet duct (21) and the duct (3) have a common outlet for connection to the ventilation duct (1) of the building via a single opening in the wall (2) of the building.

3. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the outlet duct (21) and duct (3) are separate, to be connected to the ventilation duct (1) of the building via two, separate openings in the wall (2) of the building.

4. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the condensate drain (12) from the evaporator (11) is a container attached to the air conditioner in a detachable manner.

5. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the hood inlet (15) is provided with a filter.
