Abstract

The invention relates to a closure cover made of a plastic material for closing a goods-receiving container in order to form a closed container. A peripheral wall region and the cover surface of the closure cover form a stack-receiving region. The peripheral wall region of the closure cover is equipped with a cover flange having a cover-sealing surface, which faces the goods-receiving container, for sealing the closure cover against a corresponding container sealing surface of the goods-receiving container. In addition, latching means for latching the closure cover to the goods-receiving container are provided on outwardly facing sides of the peripheral wall region of the closure cover. [0002] The invention relates to a closure lid for closing a goods receiving container to form a closed container, and to a container comprising a closure lid and a goods receiving container to be closed therewith.

[0003] A wide variety of goods, such as food products available in supermarkets, are stored and offered for sale in (re)sealable plastic containers, comprising a container and a sealing lid. These goods must, of course, also be transported in this packaged form from the packaging location to the point of sale.
