[0032] The coated films on paper substrates were tested according to ASTM D4946 (2017) tests face-to-face blocking resistance. Small panels / coupons (3.8 cm squares) are cut out of the film and placed face-to-face with 1 kilogram (kg) weight on them to apply pressure for 30 minutes. For hot block testing they are placed in an oven at 50℃ while the pressure is applied. For room temperature testing they are placed on a bench top at a controlled temperature of 25℃ while pressure is applied After removal from the oven and equilibration for 30 minutes at room temperature, the films were peeled apart and measured on the qualitative scale. The degree of blocking is rated subjectively for tack or seal using a series of standard descriptive terms corresponding to numerical ASTM values of 10 to 0. After cooling, separate the sections with slow and steady force. Pull apart at an angle of approximately 180° and listen for tack. Rate the samples for block resistance on a scale of 0 to 10. This rating system is defined below in appropriate descriptive terms. All variations of the Peel Block Resistance Test rate samples on the following scale: · 10, no tack, perfect · 9, trace tack, excellent · 8, slight tack, very good · 7, slight tack, good · 6, moderate tack, good · 5, moderate tack, fair · 4, severe tack, no delamination, fair · 3, 5-25%delamination, poor · 2, >25-50%delamination, poor · 1, >50-75%delamination, poor · 0, >75%delaminate to complete seal, full delamination, very poor Results for various formulations are shown in Table 3 Table 3

[0033] It can be found from Table 3 that such siloxane phosphate additive (Example 1) with short chain siloxane can provide comparative anti-blocking efficiency including hot blocking with fluorinated additives (Comparative Ex A) while other long chain siloxane or EO / PO based nonionic siloxane (Comparative Ex B) cannot work. Hydrocarbon phosphate can work at a limited efficiency, especially at 50℃ (Comparative Ex C-D) . Such siloxane phosphate additive can be used at lower loading level without sacrificing anti-blocking efficiency both at R.T. and 50℃ (Ex 2-4) .
