The invention relates to an assembly (101) for a wind turbine gear mechanism, having a first housing part (103), a second housing part (105), a hollow element (117), and a screw (107), by means of which the first housing part (103) and the second housing part (105) are screwed together, wherein the first housing part (103) has a first bore (109, 113) and the second housing part (105) has a second bore (111, 115) which are aligned with one another; the hollow element (117) is received in the first bore (109, 113) and the second bore (111, 115), the hollow element establishing a form-fitting connection between the first housing part (109, 113) and the second housing part (111, 115); and the screw (107) is received in the hollow element (117). [0004] From EP 3682 145 B1, a planetary gear unit with a ring gear housing is known, which is connected to a housing component at its end face. A plurality of recesses are formed on one end face of the ring gear housing. A hollow element is received in at least one of the recesses. It forms a positive connection between the ring gear housing and the housing component. A screw is received in the hollow element. The hollow element has the shape of a hollow cylinder. Its end faces are annular and planar.

[0005] The invention is based on the objective of making available a wind turbine gearbox that is improved compared to the prior art. This objective is achieved by an arrangement according to claim 1 and a method according to claim 2.
