[0001] The present invention relates in general to a kit for modular construction of a temporary booth for trade fairs or expositions. In particular, the invention provides a solution for finishing corners of exhibition booths with LED-screens.

[0002] Exposition booths are usually modular constructions so that they can be assembled and dismantled in a rapid and simple manner, and be transported compactly. For that purpose, light frames are used as basic structure for the construction of the booth.

[0003] In the past decade, these booths have become real visual gems, such that there use is not any longer limited to exhibitions and fairs, but that they are also used as stages or in the entertainment sector. More and more use is being made of display modules to attract visitors to the booth. These display modules are combined as tiles to form a wall, ceiling or even a floor of the booth.

[0004] Originally, these display modules could not be combined into a large screen that apparently extends around a corner of the booth. Recently, specific corner elements have been developed to make this possible. An example of such a corner element is disclosed in EP 4 029 004 (EP ‘004). The corner element in EP ‘004 is provided with a LED-screen which extends over a corner surface. A drawback of the solution in EP ‘004 is that specific corner elements are needed depending on the wanted structure for the booth. This means that a lot of different elements have to be transported to the location of the exhibition. It requires quite some organization to find the correct elements and place them at the intended spot. The corner elements are also not fully modular, which is a big disadvantage for the construction of exhibition booths. Another drawback is that the corner elements are bulky elements, complicating the transport.

CLAIMS1. Kit for modular construction of an exhibition booth, comprising a first frame for forming a wall, floor or ceiling part of the exhibition booth and a first strip, wherein the first frame comprises a front face, a back face and sides, wherein the sides form a periphery of the first frame, wherein a first side of said sides extends in a first longitudinal direction, wherein the first side comprises mounting holes, wherein the mounting holes are placed equidistantly on a grid, wherein a distance between two adjacent mounting holes equals to a length X, wherein the length X is measured from centre to centre of the mounting holes, wherein the centres of the mounting holes are located at a distance from a first end of the first side along the first longitudinal direction that is a multiple of half the length X, and wherein a front side of the first strip is an LED-screen, characterized in that the LED- screen of the first strip has a width that corresponds to a width of the first side, wherein the width of the first side is measured in a direction perpendicular to the first longitudinal direction and parallel to the first side, wherein the first side has a length that is a multiple of the length X, wherein the LED-screen of the first strip has a length that is a multiple of the length X, wherein the first strip comprises at a back side one or more connectors for supplying power and / or video signals to the LED-screen, wherein after attaching the first strip to the first side the one or more connectors protrude through a mounting hole in the first side, the centre of said mounting hole being at a distance from a first end of the LED-screen of the first strip that is a multiple of half the length X.

Kit according to claim 1 , characterized in that the first strip comprises at the back side attachment means for attaching the first strip to the first side of the first frame, wherein after attaching the first strip to said first side said attachment means engage a mounting hole in said first side.

3. Kit according to claim 2, characterized in that the one or more connectors are part of the attachment means.

4. Kit according to any of the previous claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the kit comprises a power supply for the LED-screen of the first strip, wherein the power supply is attachable to the frame within its periphery.

Kit according to any of the previous claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the kit comprises a second frame for forming a wall, floor or ceiling part of the exhibition booth, wherein the second frame comprises a front face, a back face and sides, wherein the sides form a periphery of the second frame, wherein a first side of said sides of the second frame extends in the first longitudinal direction, wherein the first side of the second frame comprises mounting holes, wherein said mounting holes are placed equidistantly on a grid, wherein a distance between two adjacent mounting holes equals to the length X, wherein the length X is measured from centre to centre of the mounting holes, wherein the centres of the mounting holes are located at a distance from a first end of the first side of the second frame along the first longitudinal direction that is a multiple of half the length X, wherein the first side of the second frame has a length that is a multiple of the length X, wherein the kit comprises a second strip, wherein a front side of the second strip is an LED-screen, wherein the LED-screen of the second strip has a width that corresponds to the width of the first side of the second frame, wherein the width of the first side of the second frame is measured in a direction perpendicular to the first longitudinal direction and parallel to the first side of the second frame, wherein the LED-screen of the second strip has a length that is a multiple of the length X, wherein the second strip comprises at a back side one or more connectors for supplying power and / or video signals to the LED-screen, wherein after attaching the second strip to the first side of the second frame the one or more connectors protrude through a mounting hole in the first side of the second frame, the centre of said mounting hole being at a distance from a first end of the LED-screen of the second strip that is a multiple of half the length X, wherein the kit further comprises a first bracket for connecting the first frame and the second frame, wherein the first bracket comprises four sides, wherein a first side of the firstbracket is connected to a second side of the first bracket at an angle, wherein the second side of the first bracket is connected to a third side of the first bracket at an angle, wherein the third side of the first bracket is connected to a fourth side of the first bracket at an angle, wherein the first side of the first bracket comprises attachment means for attaching the first bracket to the first side of the first frame, wherein the second side of the first bracket comprises attachment means for attaching the first strip to the first bracket, wherein the third side of the first bracket comprises attachment means for attaching the second strip to the first bracket, wherein the fourth side of the first bracket comprises attachment means for attaching the first bracket to the first side of the second frame, wherein after attaching the first bracket to the first sides of the first frame and the second frame the attachment means on the first side and the fourth side of the first bracket engage a mounting hole in said first sides of the first frame and the second frame.

6. Kit according to claim 5, characterized in that the attachment means on the second side and the third side of the first bracket are magnets and that the back side of the first strip is ferromagnetic or magnetic.

Kit according to claim 2 and claim 5, characterized in that the attachment means on the second side and the third side of the first bracket are mounting holes, wherein after attaching the first strip to the second side of the first bracket, the attachment means of the first strip engage a mounting hole in the second side of the first bracket, and wherein after attaching the second strip to the third side of the first bracket, attachment means at the back side of the second strip engage a mounting hole in the third side of the first bracket.

Kit according to claim 7, characterized in that the second side and the third side of the first bracket each comprise at least two mounting holes, wherein a distance between the at least two mounting holes in the second side and third side measured from centre to centre of the mounting holes is a multiple of the length X.

Kit according to any of the previous claims 5 to 8, characterized in that the attachment means on the first side and the fourth side of the first bracket comprise at least two mounting holes in each of said sides, wherein a distance between the at least two mounting holes in the first side and fourth side measured from centre to centre of the mounting holes is a multiple of the length X.

10. Kit according to any of the previous claims 5 to 9, characterized in that the first bracket is part of a profile, wherein the profile extends in the first longitudinal direction, wherein the profile comprises in the first side and in the fourth side cutouts for cable routing.

Kit according to claim 14, characterized in that the kit comprises an additional display module, an additional third strip and a fourth bracket for connecting the two display modules, wherein the fourth bracket comprises four sides, wherein a first side of the fourth bracket is connected to a secondside of the fourth bracket at an angle, wherein the second side of the fourth bracket is connected to a third side of the fourth bracket at an angle, wherein the third side of the fourth bracket is connected to a fourth side of the fourth bracket at an angle, wherein the first side of the fourth bracket comprise attachment means for attaching the fourth bracket to a lateral face of a first of the display modules, wherein the second side of the fourth bracket comprises attachment means for attaching a first of the third strips to the fourth bracket, wherein the third side of the fourth bracket comprises attachment means for attaching a second of the third strips to the fourth bracket, wherein the fourth side comprises attachment means for attaching the fourth bracket to a lateral face of a second of the display modules, wherein after attaching the fourth bracket to said lateral faces of the display modules, the attachment means on the first side of the fourth bracket engage a mounting hole in said lateral face of the first of the display modules and the attachment means on the fourth side of the fourth bracket engage a mounting hole in said lateral face of the second of the display modules.
