[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] Interactive device for prayer

[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The invention, as the title of this descriptive document states, is an interactive device for praying the Rosary and other prayers that require tracking the stage or number of times a part of the prayer has been recited, such as the Lord's Prayer or the Orthodox Kyrie eleison. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current techniques.

[0005] TECHNICAL SECTOR

[0006] The present invention falls within the sector of everyday necessities, specifically in the field of haberdashery and jewelry, with a special focus on personal adornments. It also falls under the subclass corresponding to matters not covered elsewhere in that section.

[0007] STATE OF THE ART

[0008] The present invention arises from observing that young children face difficulties in following the Rosary properly, either because they cannot hold the Rosary in their hands during prayer or because they do not know which bead they are on, which interrupts their concentration and participation.

[0009] Traditional rosaries often require children to hold them constantly, which can be difficult for them, especially when it comes to keeping up with the rhythm of the prayers.

[0010] This not only hinders their learning, but can also generate disinterest or frustration, affecting their spiritual experience.

[0011] Consequently, this invention provides an interactive device for praying the Rosary that allows children to follow the Rosary without physically holding it, clearly and attractively indicating which bead they are on, thus facilitating their uninterrupted participation and learning. Currently, no interactive device for praying the Rosary is known to exist that presents structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this specification, as claimed.

[0012] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The object of the present invention is the creation of an interactive device for prayer that brings a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany the present description.

[0014] The present invention describes an interactive device for prayer, for example, the Rosary. It also allows the user to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

[0015] It comprises a structure equipped with electronic beads that include sequential indicator lights, generally one for each bead of the Rosary or the corresponding prayer. The structure, which it typically has, incorporates an electronic control system to manage the activation of the indicator lights and a power supply that allows for portable use, without needing to hold it in your hands.

[0016] This invention addresses the difficulty children face when trying to follow the Rosary or other prayers without interrupting their prayer or holding the beads in their hands. By making it easier to identify the bead they are on, children can participate continuously, improving their learning and experience by not losing the rhythm of the prayer. It includes a screen that displays the prayer corresponding to the active bead.

[0017] Furthermore, the innovation offers a practical solution that promotes children's autonomy, allowing them to use the Rosary or other prayers comfortably and accessibly in various environments, such as at home or in religious activities.

[0018] Similarly, by eliminating the need to hold it, interaction with prayer is improved, making the process more attractive and suitable for children.

[0019] The structure of this invention consists of a plurality of electronic beads grouped in different sizes. These beads represent various types of rosaries, such as the traditional Catholic rosary, the one-decade or pocket rosary, the 20-mystery or decade rosary, the Anglican rosary, and the Byzantine rosary, or the one corresponding to the specific prayer or religion.

[0020] The materials used in the manufacture of the electronic accounts include durable plastics, methacrylate, polycarbonate, tempered glass or silicone, which allow the integrated light indicators to shine clearly.

[0021] On the other hand, the indicator lights preferably consist of LEDs configured to illuminate sequentially and flash for the predetermined time for each prayer corresponding to the electronic beads. This process follows the progress of the prayer, so that, upon completion of a prayer, the indicator light remains illuminated and turns off only when the next indicator begins to flash.

[0022] The electronic control system of the invention has a programmable microcontroller, which is usually located in one of the larger electronic beads, synchronizing the activation of the light indicators according to the sequence and time predefined for each sentence, or according to the user pressing a button.

[0023] Furthermore, the structure is designed with fastening means, such as removable adhesives, which facilitate its placement on flat surfaces or its mounting on walls.

[0024] The electronic control system also includes an audio guidance module, capable of playing pre-recorded prayers and adapting to different languages or styles of prayer, providing greater accessibility for users.

[0025] In addition, this system has an on / off button, which is located on one of the larger electronic accounts, offering convenience in its handling.

[0026] Finally, the power supply consists of a replaceable or rechargeable battery, which can be charged via a USB port present on one of the larger electronic devices, thus ensuring its portable and practical operation.

[0027] To use the interactive device for prayer, the user must place the structure and activate the light indicators using the integrated control system.

[0028] In this way, each bead will light up sequentially, guiding the user through the prayer without needing to hold the rosary. The system will allow adjusting the duration of the illumination and the sequence of the beads, offering a clear and continuous visual guide to follow the prayer more smoothly and independently.

[0029] EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES

[0030] To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by a figure in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented.

[0031] Figure 1 shows the interactive device for prayer, in a realization for praying the Rosary.

[0032] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.

[0033] The interactive prayer device, the subject of this invention, comprises a structure (in this case, in the form of a rosary) equipped with aligned electronic beads (2) on a necklace or other element, which include sequential indicator lights (3), an electronic control system (4) for managing the sequential activation of said indicator lights (3), and a power supply (5) that allows for portable use without the need to hold it. This arrangement allows users to intuitively follow the recitation of the Rosary or the corresponding prayer without the need to physically manipulate a traditional rosary or bead necklace, thus facilitating its use, especially for people with limited mobility or children.

[0034] In a preferred embodiment, the structure (1) includes a plurality of electronic beads (2) of varying sizes, allowing for the representation of different types of rosaries, such as the traditional Catholic rosary, the 1-decade or pocket rosary, the 20-decade rosary, the Anglican rosary, and the Byzantine rosary. This feature enables the device's versatility, adapting to diverse traditions and user preferences.
