Abstract

An indoor unit 10 of an air conditioner 100 having a refrigerant circuit 70 through which a refrigerant circulates, said indoor unit 10 comprising: a housing 1 in which an intake port 12 and a discharge port 13 are formed; a blower fan 2 which is provided inside the housing 1 and generates airflow which flows from the intake port 12 toward the discharge port 13; a heat exchanger 3 which is provided inside the housing 1, has a pipe 3c through which the refrigerant circulates, and exchanges heat between the refrigerant and the airflow generated by the blower fan 2; a heat exchanger support member for supporting an end section of the heat exchanger 3; and a first refrigerant leakage detection sensor 41 provided to the side of the heat exchanger support member. The first refrigerant leakage detection sensor 41 comprises a sensor part 41a for detecting a refrigerant, and a folder 41d for storing the sensor part 41a. The folder 41d is disposed between the heat exchanger support member and a side surface of the housing 1 in a state where a gap c1 is formed between the heat exchanger support member and the folder 41d.

Claims

1. An indoor unit of an air conditioner having a refrigerant circuit through which a refrigerant circulates, comprising: a housing formed with an intake port and an outlet port; a blower fan provided inside the housing that generates an airflow from the intake port to the outlet port; a heat exchanger provided inside the housing that has piping through which the refrigerant flows and performs heat exchange between the airflow generated by the blower fan and the refrigerant; a heat exchanger support member that supports the end of the heat exchanger; and a first refrigerant leak detection sensor provided on the side of the heat exchanger support member, wherein the first refrigerant leak detection sensor comprises a sensor part that detects the refrigerant and a folder that houses the sensor part, and the folder is positioned between the heat exchanger support member and the side of the housing such that there is a gap between the heat exchanger support member and the folder.

2. The indoor unit of the air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the folder has an opening formed on a surface facing the side of the housing.

3. The indoor unit of the air conditioner according to claim 2, characterized in that the upper surface of the folder of the first refrigerant leak detection sensor is inclined to slope downward from the side of the housing toward the heat exchanger support member.
